Synopsis
Fernando Argenta turns a classical concert for schoolchildren into a participatory game. Between orchestral pieces, contests and humorous explanations, children learn to identify instruments and composers; from 2005 onward, the Los Traka puppet family joins in to discuss the music and create comic situations.
Context & Trivia
Muñecos Animados brought Los Traka into El Conciertazo from 2005 to 2009. The family consisted of Trompa, Silvana and Abuelo, alongside caricatures of Mozart, Beethoven and J. S. Bach. Manuel Román designed Los Traka; Javier Gallego and Armando Ángeles modelled the composers; Ana Cortazar and Silvia Álvarez created costume designs and wardrobe. Eduardo Guerrero directed the puppet animation and performed and voiced the characters with Guillermo Gil and Javier Jiménez.
