Synopsis
Directed by Dougal Wilson, this Grammy-nominated 2009 video opens on a group of children waiting for a traditional Punch and Judy puppet show at a British village hall. Instead, puppet versions of Coldplay take the stage and launch into the song, unsettling the young audience as the performance grows increasingly extravagant, complete with pyrotechnics, Chris Martin's puppet crowd-surfing over the children, and Punch and Judy performing motorcycle stunts. The puppet band eventually escapes by miniature helicopter, crashing through a window as they fly off.
