Synopsis
Kasia, from Poland, and Jaime, from Spain, tour rural communities of San Luis Potosí, Zacatecas, Durango and Coahuila with a horse-drawn wagon, performing puppet shows with the recycled-materials puppets of "the Nudo Family" for children and adults in remote desert villages.
Context & Trivia
Directed by Jorge Prior, who first read about the couple in a La Jornada article by correspondent Alfredo Valadez Rodríguez and decided to seek them out. Produced by Producciones Volcán and Pierrot Films, the 84-minute film had its theatrical release (Cineteca Nacional) on March 15, 2024, after previously screening at festivals such as UNAM's Festival de Cultura.
