Synopsis
A stuffed monkey escaped from a military base — and very much alive — pulls mild-mannered Jeff Panacloc into a frantic chase across the worst possible day of his life. With his grandmother's wedding approaching, a future father-in-law who loathes him, and Lieutenant Alice closing in, things spiral further when the puppet swallows the wedding ring and makes Jeff an unwilling accomplice in his escape.

Jean-Marc, the ventriloquist monkey puppet Jeff Panacloc performs with in his live shows, makes his feature-film debut here — the first time the duo has appeared on the big screen. The most telling creative decision belongs to director Pierre-François Martin-Laval, who ruled out 3D animation entirely and insisted on physical puppet manipulation throughout. Jean-Marc shares every frame with human performers without digital mediation, placing the film squarely within a live-action puppetry tradition and demanding precise on-set coordination between Panacloc and the production team.
