Synopsis
Irreverent, lovable, and genuinely funny rats carry this Catalan puppet series for young audiences. Each character's personality is shaped as much by the physical design of the puppets as by the scripts — form and texture do as much work as dialogue.
Context & Trivia
Produced by CCMA and broadcast on SX3 between 2021 and 2022, the series was built around rat puppets designed to hold three registers at once: irreverence, warmth, and comedy. Cris Broquetas, part of the creative team, revealed one detail that speaks to the show's design philosophy: they gave the puppets lice. A small, deliberate touch of grotesque realism that sharpens each character's identity and reflects how far the puppet-making process was pushed.
