Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 18, 2026.
PuppetHunt.tv uses two kinds of cookies: technical ones, always active because the site can't work without them and therefore exempt from prior consent (art. 22.2 of Spain's LSSI-CE), and analytics ones (Google Analytics, served through Google Tag Manager), which only activate if you explicitly accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. Until then, no Google script loads and no request is sent to their servers.
You can change your mind at any time from the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of any page.
Technical cookies
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
session |
Keeps you signed in (user account) and, where relevant, your newsletter form state. | Browser session | PuppetHunt.tv (first-party) |
puppethunt_beta |
Access to the site's beta version while we finish cleaning up the catalogue. | Browser session | PuppetHunt.tv (first-party) |
ph_consent |
Remembers your decision on this policy (accept/reject analytics), so we don't ask again on every visit. | 12 months | PuppetHunt.tv (first-party) |
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
Accepting the banner loads Google Tag Manager with a
Google Analytics 4 tag, which sets its own cookies
(_ga, _ga_*) to count visits and understand what content
matters most. Google processes that data under its own
privacy policy.
The site also has —but does not yet use— consent signals for advertising
(ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization):
this is the standard way to make sure that, if we ever enable any kind of ads, we
won't need to redesign the banner or ask for consent through a different mechanism.
Today there is no ad and no advertising cookie active on PuppetHunt.tv.
How consent works
On your first visit you'll see a banner with two equally-sized buttons: "Accept"
and "Reject" — rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting. Until you choose, no
analytics script loads. Your choice is stored in the technical cookie
ph_consent and you can change it anytime from "Cookie settings" at
the bottom of the page.
How to delete all cookies
Besides "Cookie settings", you can delete any cookie from your browser settings. Deleting the technical ones just means you'll need to sign in again or the banner will reappear — it doesn't change anything about how we handle your data.
