Synopsis
Baldo, a puppet chef, welcomes a child as his kitchen assistant in a magical kitchen inhabited by living utensils. As the characters take part in a short adventure, they prepare a simple Mediterranean recipe that young viewers can recreate with an adult’s help.
Context & Trivia
Román y Cía designed, built, and animated the programme’s puppets. Manuel Román created the characters and built the figures, with costume concepts and wardrobe by Ana Cortázar; Daniel Sesma, Belén Torres, and Román himself performed them. The format combines hand-and-rod puppets with personified kitchen objects so that cooking instruction unfolds through action and dialogue.
