Synopsis

Lucho’s ball falls into a magical well. When Lupita, Lucho, Lublú and Lulila go after it, they tumble into the Land of Fairy Tales and discover that its stories have been turned upside down. Little Red Riding Hood, the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio and Ali Baba are behaving unlike themselves because the sorcerer Luciflor has enchanted their world. The Lunnis travel through the altered tales, help their inhabitants and confront Luciflor, hoping to undo the spell and restore each story before the disorder becomes permanent.

Context & Trivia

Released on DVD in December 2004, Los Lunnis en la Tierra de los Cuentos expanded TVE’s young puppet characters into a long-form fairy-tale adventure. Lupita, Lucho, Lublú and Lulila remain the central performers, carrying the story through encounters with familiar literary figures rather than appearing as brief presenters. The release also included behind-the-scenes material about the characters and their production, plus karaoke and games, showing that it was designed as a broader children’s home-video package. Secondary film records credit Joan Albert Planell and Valentín Villagrasa as directors, and Pere Anglas, Daniel Cerdà and Jaume Copons as writers.
