Synopsis
An intimate look at the life and career of entertainer Shari Lewis, from her 1950s TV debut on Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts through The Shari Lewis Show and The Charlie Horse Music Pizza, told through her sock-puppet alter ego Lamb Chop.
Context & Trivia
Directed by Lisa D'Apolito (Love, Gilda), the film features interviews with Shari Lewis's daughter Mallory Lewis (who continues performing with Lamb Chop today), David Copperfield and Darci Lynne Farmer. It premiered at DOC NYC 2023 and received a limited theatrical release via Kino Lorber starting July 18, 2025.
