Synopsis
Directed by Marcos Siega and shot on a Manhattan Beach soundstage in June 2002, this video puts Weezer directly on the set of The Muppet Show for their Maladroit single. Miss Piggy ties up drummer Patrick Wilson, leaving Animal to fill in on drums, while Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Pepe the King Prawn, Rowlf the Dog, the Swedish Chef, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, Beaker and a supporting cast of chickens and penguins join the band on camera, with Jim Henson's actual Muppets rather than puppet lookalikes.
Context & Trivia
Unlike most puppet music videos, this one uses the actual Jim Henson Muppets characters (Kermit, Miss Piggy, Animal and others) performing alongside the band on a real Muppet Show-style soundstage.
