Synopsis

In Frogtown Hollow, Emmet Otter and his mother, Ma, are a poor family who dream of buying each other special Christmas gifts. When a talent contest with a cash prize is announced, they both secretly decide to enter, risking their most prized possessions to make each other's dreams come true. The story, narrated by Kermit the Frog, is an adaptation of Russell Hoban's children's book and is inspired by O. Henry's "The Gift of the Magi".
