Jeff Dunham is known for building his own puppets. For this special, Dunham's puppets are dressed up for Halloween. Walter transforms into "Crankenstein" (a grumpier version of Frankenstein), Bubba J dresses as a vampire and calls himself "Count Beercula", Peanut becomes the superhero "Batnut" with Jose Jalapeno as his sidekick "Reubin", and Achmed the Dead Terrorist dresses as an American woman, calling himself "Achmedina". The special also features parody horror movie trailers starring the puppets, such as "The Monster" (a Frankenstein parody with Walter), "The Tooth of the Vampire" (with Bubba J), "Batnut" (with Peanut), and "I Keeloween: The Night It Came Home" (with Achmed). In the opening of the special, the names of some of Dunham's previously used puppets can be seen on gravestones, confirming their retirement. These include Monty Ballew, Archie, Diane, Monkey, Sweet Daddy D, and Melvin The Superhero.
