Synopsis
Seven young animals from different parts of the world live together in an imaginary cave. When they find a way out, they face unfamiliar situations and overcome them through humour, effort, sport, friendship and teamwork.
Context & Trivia
The 7Pets puppets were designed and built by the Madrid company Muñecos Animados, also known as Román y Cía., for a Pets Entertainment production. The company’s documentation describes a handcrafted process at its workshop near Madrid: characters made from polyurethane foam, covered with dyeable stretch fabric and, when manipulation requires it, fitted with mechanisms for articulated eyes. The series took these Spanish-built characters to domestic and international broadcasters including Disney Channel, Playhouse Disney, Telemadrid and V-Me in the United States.
