It's not a country for fools - MediaMarkt
Original title: No es país para tontos - MediaMarkt
Trailer
Synopsis
Six puppet roommates, each embodying a distinct Spanish regional stereotype, share a flat located right above a MediaMarkt store, getting into comic situations tied to technology and smart shopping that echo the brand's slogan, "I'm not stupid."
Context & Trivia
A MediaMarkt advertising campaign that premiered on November 21, 2013, directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia (who would later direct the film The Platform) for agency DDB España, produced by Debut/BooLab. The six puppets were built and operated by Muñecos Animados (the same company behind El Mundo de Fredo Fox), voiced by comedians Rober Bodegas, Jordi Ríos, Sandra Marchena, José Campoy, Maru Candel and Andoni Aguirregomezkorta. The campaign revived the humorous, irreverent tone of the brand's earliest campaigns.
