Produced in 1996 by Manuel Román Saralegui through his studio Román y Cía (active 1995–2001), a designer, puppeteer and director specializing in puppets for advertising, film, theatre and television. Trained in part with Kermit Love (co-creator of the Muppets) and Werner Kepler (creator of the makeup for Planet of the Apes), Román won a Goya Award for best special effects and has created campaigns for brands such as Mahou, Canal+, Génesis Seguros and MediaMarkt, as well as the series Los Lunnis. No public documentation of this specific commercial's plot has been located.
