Synopsis
BJ, an energetic young video creator, uses crafts and simple experiments to introduce children to the language of film, television, radio, and theatre. Her plush spectators Agus and Lui watch, comment, joke, and frequently turn each lesson into a comic domestic mishap. Across short tutorials, the programme explores scripts, storyboards, sets, shot types, lenses, lighting, sound, editing, visual effects, stop motion, and music videos. Children are encouraged to follow BJ’s steps with recycled or readily available materials, learning audiovisual concepts by making things themselves.

Clan launched Lunnis y...¡acción! on 27 April 2018 as an online-first media-literacy project connected to the Lunnis universe. RTVE’s press release identifies Alfonso Fulgencio as director and performer of Agus, Beatriz Jericó as BJ, and José Luis Farías as Lui. Paramotion Films devised and produced the transmedia project, which combined short audiovisual pieces with downloadable teaching guides, social content, live educational activities, and the free Stop Motion Lunnis app. Its puppet dimension comes chiefly from Agus and Lui, described by RTVE as BJ’s plush spectators, whose comic exchanges frame the practical demonstrations.
Did you know?
- RTVE launched the project on 27 April 2018 and distributed it through the Clan website and Clan’s YouTube channel.
- The programme’s stop-motion lesson was accompanied by a free iOS and Android app that let children record and edit their own animations.
