OK Go — Muppet Show Theme Song
Original title: Muppet Show Theme Song
Watch
Synopsis
OK Go sets out to play the Muppet Show theme on an elaborate musical contraption—until Kermit, Miss Piggy, Animal, Gonzo, Fozzie, Beaker and a crowd of characters take over the set. The Muppets interact directly with the band, unleashing the kind of gleeful disorder they've always specialized in. Woven through the chaos are nods to OK Go's own treadmill and Rube Goldberg machine videos, with Statler and Waldorf providing sardonic commentary from the balcony.
Context & Trivia
This 2011 music video features the band OK Go collaborating with the Muppets for their cover of 'The Muppet Show Theme Song,' which was released on the album 'Muppets: The Green Album'. The two-day production of the video took place at Delphino Studios in Slymar, California, and was co-produced by Soapbox Films.
